My 5 Secret Tips to Connect to Your Spirit Guides

  • #1 - Talk to Your Guides Directly.

Nobody wants to be in a relationship where they’re ignored. The same applies to your Spirit team!

They simply can’t help you if you don’t pay attention to them.

Talk to your Spirit Guides out loud — as if you would any other friend! Do this often (in the car, when you’re washing the dishes, right before bed).

This helps nurture your relationship, so they’ll feel more comfortable communicating with you.

Need ideas? Spirit Guides love hearing about how you’re feeling, what you’re working on, and where you need more help.

  • #2 - Formally "Call In" Your Spirit Team.

Each of us has a name, and we respond to it immediately. The same is true of your Guides!

Instead of just trying to sit down and connect, specifically call in your Spirit Team.

Try this: “I am formally calling forth to my Spirit Guides. Please come in now to support me and guide me.”

If you’d like, you can even use your name: “I am calling forth to Gabriella’s Spirit Guides…”

Next, ask a specific question. Most people can feel their presence or receive some sort of message. You will literally feel an energetic change, or you may even hear a voice in your head. This is a sign that it’s working!

  • #3 - Be Specific with Your Desires.

Remember, your Spirit Guides are YOUR Guides. They want to know exactly what you want to manifest.

If it seems like your Guides aren’t pulling through, it’s probably because you’re not being clear enough.

Make sure to be specific. Tell them exactly what you’re looking to achieve. Write them a letter about it, pray to them, and visualize your desires coming true with their help.

You’ll begin co-creating your reality with them immediately.

  • #4 - Separate the Ego, Brain, and Intuition.

We often confuse these three centers, which is a huge block to our intuition.

The Ego is a self-judgment machine. It tells us that we are not good enough, unworthy, and that we should stay in a state of anxiety.

The Brain is like a computer. We give it a task — it gets us a result.

The Intuition is your true inner knowing. It’s the seat of your Soul, where all of the answers are available to you. It comes “online” when we get quiet enough to really listen.

If you can begin to distinguish between the Ego, Brain, and Intuition, you’ll make yourself a clearer channel. This makes it easy for your Spirit Guides to come through!

  • #5 - Learn the Clairs.

In school, we’re taught that we have 5 senses. But intuition actually runs much deeper.

We have 6 main ways of accessing our intuition.

Try to understand which 1-2 resonate with you, and focus on building those.

    • Clairvoyance - the ability to see in your mind’s eye. Tip: Ask your Spirit Guides to show you an image of what you need to know.

Clairaudience - The ability to hear or think a thought that is not “your own”. Tip: Try automatic writing.

Claircognizance - The ability to have a deep, profound inner knowing. Tip: Pay attention to what you’ve “known” for a long time — see if it materializes.

Clairsentience - The ability to feel intuitive messages in your body. Tip: Pay attention to when you get sensations like shivers or tingles.

Clairalience - The ability to smell a scent that holds a message. Tip: Notice when a scent suddenly washes over you — who might it be connected to?

Clairgustance - The ability to receive intuitive messages through taste. Tip: When you taste something all of a sudden, identify what it symbolizes for you.
