Our purpose exists within us from the moment we are born

We often begin living it out through childhood games and continue to uncover it through the things we do for fun. For some, it is making art or music. For others, it’s creating a world-changing invention or coming up with the next mathematical formula.

Your purpose is a combination of whatever you are most passionate about, what makes you feel free, and whatever you can do in a state of complete flow. Notice how I didn’t equate purpose with money or something you can build a career out of — these things are not our purpose; they’re simply one of the ways we’ve chosen to express our purpose in this world.

Spirit wants us to be on a constant quest for adventure. Our world is like a school, and we’re sent here to learn, grow and help others. If we spent a whole lifetime doing nothing but that, in Spirit’s view, this is totally valid.

For this reason, I often find that people who ask for “outcomes” from their Guides often don’t get a clear answer. Personally, I believe it’s because their Spirit Guides want them to keep exploring, expanding their consciousness, and being open to new possibilities being around the corner. Patience and acceptance is the name of the game. You never know when a new learning will ignite your purpose, after all.
